Parkwood Dance Academy has been operating for over 35 years. 

We offer Creative Movement Kinder Program, Ballet (R.A.D.), Jazz, Tap

& Contemporary (C.S.T.D.), Special Needs and Adult classes.

We also incorporate Hip Hop,Funk, Latin Tap & Jazz, Broadway Tap & Jazz, Street Tap, Character

(National), Demi-character, Free movement, Lyrical and Neo-Classical into our dance classes.

We are located in central Park Orchards where we have superbly appointed studios with highly qualified  teachers. Our students are offered a refreshing program, full of dancing, performing, and importantly, the art of learning. We also offer opportunities to selected students in our Scholarship and Class Assistant Programs.

Our mission is to encourage students of all ages and levels to experience the world of dance wihile gaining the benefits of self-esteem, poise and physical well-being.

BEGINNERS

We focus on a syllabus-based dance education (we are one of the largest C.S.T.D. Tap and Jazz examination schools in Victoria) with caring, experienced professionals. Our teachers are dedicated to providing quality instruction through positive reinforcement, while being actively involved in student’s physical/mental development as a dancer.
